Event Description
The Annual Mentoring Legislative Day, hosted by Representative Zack Hawkins and coordinated in collaboration with Dr. Warren Herndon, brings together youth advocates, mentoring organizations, and community leaders from across North Carolina to champion one powerful message—mentoring matters.
This day-long event at the North Carolina General Assembly is part of a continued push to secure dedicated state funding for youth mentoring programs. North Carolina currently allocates zero dollars toward this life-changing work. By uniting our voices, we aim to change that.
Proposed Itenerary
9:30/10am - Breakfast at offsite location
10:30am - Arrive at Legislative Building & Red Staircase photos
11:00am - Tour with Legislative Assistants
